Packaging
We recommend cardboard boxes - any kind of durable hard cardboard boxes - regardless of whether that box was originally used for the transport of other products or if the cardboard box has inscriptions or drawings. Boxes for napkins (eng), napkins (fr) only support their own weight, we do not recommend using them for transport - they break very quickly from the weight of the contents. Pay attention to the strength of the cardboard, when you buy boxes from HomeDepot, U-Haul, Lowes, etc., they should be Heavy Duty Medium.
The boxes must be proportionate to the contents of the goods inside. The contents must be well packed and without gaps. To tape joints and edges, don't skimp on the tape, tape the package as best you can all the way around, not just the edges (we recommend clear or brown tape; we don't recommend gray. type "tape" because it peel off easily).
There are no minimum dimensions, we cannot impose certain dimensions of the boxes, the boxes must be of the minimum possible dimensions, that is, they must be as compact as possible. Example: for a pair of shoes, the dimensions of the box must be the size of a pair of shoes; for a grill, the box must be the size of a grill; for a giant teddy bear (extra toy) the box must be as big as that giant bear, for sending mixed goods (clothes, shoes, other goods) please use Medium Heavy duty boxes.
You can send any packages you want, as long as each individual package follows the 4 simple rules below:
30 kg – maximum weight on each individual package; we also accept heavier parcels that 30 kg, only by sea to Romania and will be surcharged from 30 kg upwards;
the size of the package - the goods in the package must be packed as compactly as possible, as tight as possible, without space or gaps in the box;
use boxes or packaging depending on the content to be shipped;
do not leave gaps in the box, because you will also pay for the air in the box. If the box has not been completely filled, it is cut on the edges and folded to the content, you can view short video on the link
IMPORTANT: Parcels that exceed the weight of 30kg or with large dimensions are ONLY accepted for Romania by sea - they will be considered oversized or bulky and will be charged according to the rules for these oversized situations.
Volumetric weight refers to the overall size of a parcel and is measured in volumetric kilograms. Volumetric weight can be calculated by multiplying the length, width and height of a parcel (in cm) and dividing that figure by 6000. In order to pay the tariff for physical weight and not for volumetric weight, the physical weight on the scale must be equal to or greater (maximum 30 kg/box) than the volumetric weight.
You can put a label on the package or write directly on the box. Indicate on the parcel (one visible label is sufficient): name, address and telephone number of the recipient.
You can also use plastic boxes or suitcases. Plastic boxes must be wrapped in plastic film. Make sure the volumetric weight is correct. You can use this formula to calculate it: length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) / 6000 = volumetric weight (kg). Shipping costs are calculated based on the higher result of actual weight and volumetric weight. Suitcases must be properly wrapped in plastic film. Make sure the label won’t come off during shipping and that you affix a label the size of a sheet of paper to each side of the suitcase. Be careful with suitcases with a textile outer shell; the adhesive tape comes off easily.
IMPORTANT: We accept suitcases as an alternative packaging; however, we do not recommend them.
All goods shipped by sea or air must be properly packaged. Goods cannot be shipped in bulk and must be properly identified with a label containing shipper and consignee addresses. For irregularly sized goods, please contact us for advice on how to pack them. Example: Rugs should be rolled, folded, and packed in large, dark-colored garbage bags. Skis must be packed in dark colored garbage bags. Bikes can be packed in cardboard boxes that you can buy or get from specialty bike stores. Children’s mountain bikes must be placed in wooden boxes.
Your package must be closed, sealed and bear the identification label containing the information of the sender and the recipient. This is very important as it allows us to speed up the process of posting parcels and preparing the bill of lading, and to respect the waiting time of our other customers.
The following services are chargeable:

- Box or suitcase packaging by company employees: $20/box;

Parcels weighing more than 30kg will be delivered approximately 4-7 days later than parcels up to 30kg.

According to the legal restrictions imposed in Romania, there is the possibility of not making deliveries to the door, if this is not possible, the building does not have an elevator. The recipients will be notified by phone by the couriers that they have arrived in front of the property and will have to come and pick up the package(s) personally and take possession of them.
The sender accepts all these conditions when handing over the parcels.
Delivery Standard is an estimate of the time required for package transit, regular scan inspection, customs clearance and delivery of the package . The delivery standards for our services are:
- by air: up to 7 days Romania; up to 10 days in other European countries;
- by sea: 4 weeks (Romania), 4-5 weeks (Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, other European countries).
Delivery standards are calculated from the date the ship leaves the port (for sea transport) or the parcel is dropped off at the airport (for air transport).
NOTE: These standards are adhered to and are GUARANTEED. Exceptions may occur in transit, due to various NATURAL, unexpected/unforeseen changes in the calculation of delivery standards. The causes of these changes can be: bad weather, technical difficulties, strikes, detailed physical inspections by state authorities in the country of departure, during transit or at destination (these inspections take longer than inspections which are performed by a scan, at airdrop -off, and have been taken into account when calculating the delivery standards), etc. These exceptions are completely unintentional and cannot be foreseen or predicted.
Adding additional information (phone number, change of address, change of recipient) CANNOT be done during the entire transit of the parcel.
Insurance
The customer has the right to include an insurance, insurance premium is 4.5%.
Custom
When handing over the parcels, it is the responsibility of the customer/shipper to declare the contents of the parcels, as well as the real value of the contents, on their own responsibility. If during any customs inspection or over-inspection carried out in USA or EU by the customs authorities, a discrepancy is found between the declared and continued goods, detention measures may be applied to the goods not properly declared or customs duties may be applied according to the customs tariff in force. We recommend that you do not leave goods with new tags and prices on them in your parcels. In the case of a physical customs control of the parcel, customs duties are paid according to the value of the price displayed on the goods. The customer and only the customer is directly responsible for the contents of the packages they send.
Customs is the authority responsible at national level for customs clearance of products entering or leaving the country. His first responsibility is to collect customs duties. Parcels are handed over to customs for verification and clearance. Once your goods are cleared and cleared, we do not handle their delivery. Together with the customer, World Line Cargo completes the documentation and information of each individual package. The customer declares the contents of the package and its value, for which he signs, that is, he assumes full responsibility for what is declared.
- parcel undervalued by the sender. In this case, the customs/customs commissioner recalculates the value of the parcel, possibly asking the Recipient to declare the value of the parcel, the customs commissioner calculates the customs debt, which must be paid by the Sender or Recipient. After the customs debt is paid, the package is cleared, we deliver it.
