The shipping number must be written exactly in the format shown on the customer's BL paper, for example: 0XX-XXXXXX-XXXX. Please note: there is no space before or after the numbers, write the lines between the numbers.
Since July 1, 2024 notification by SMS are no longer sent to senders, senders can track the status of packages on the Trace Page.
Packaging
We recommend cardboard boxes - any kind of durable hard cardboard boxes - regardless of whether that box was originally used for the transport of other products or if the cardboard box has inscriptions or drawings. Boxes for napkins (eng), napkins (fr) only support their own weight, we do not recommend using them for transport - they break very quickly from the weight of the contents. Pay attention to the strength of the cardboard, when you buy boxes from HomeDepot, U-Haul, Lowes, etc., they should be Heavy Duty Medium.
The boxes must be proportionate to the contents of the goods inside. The contents must be well packed and without gaps. To tape joints and edges, don't skimp on the tape, tape the package as best you can all the way around, not just the edges (we recommend clear or brown tape; we don't recommend gray. type "tape" because it peel off easily).
There are no minimum dimensions, we cannot impose certain dimensions of the boxes, the boxes must be of the minimum possible dimensions, that is, they must be as compact as possible. Example: for a pair of shoes, the dimensions of the box must be the size of a pair of shoes; for a grill, the box must be the size of a grill; for a giant teddy bear (extra toy) the box must be as big as that giant bear, for sending mixed goods (clothes, shoes, other goods) please use Medium Heavy duty boxes.
You can send any packages you want, as long as each individual package follows the 4 simple rules below:
30 kg – maximum weight on each individual package; we also accept heavier parcels that 30 kg, only by sea to Romania and will be surcharged from 30 kg upwards;
the size of the package - the goods in the package must be packed as compactly as possible, as tight as possible, without space or gaps in the box;
use boxes or packaging depending on the content to be shipped;
do not leave gaps in the box, because you will also pay for the air in the box. If the box has not been completely filled, it is cut on the edges and folded to the content, you can view short video on the link
IMPORTANT: Parcels that exceed the weight of 30kg or with large dimensions are ONLY accepted for Romania by sea - they will be considered oversized or bulky and will be charged according to the rules for these oversized situations.
Volumetric weight refers to the overall size of a parcel and is measured in volumetric kilograms. Volumetric weight can be calculated by multiplying the length, width and height of a parcel (in cm) and dividing that figure by 6000. In order to pay the tariff for physical weight and not for volumetric weight, the physical weight on the scale must be equal to or greater (maximum 30 kg/box) than the volumetric weight.
You can put a label on the package or write directly on the box. Indicate on the parcel (one visible label is sufficient): name, address and telephone number of the recipient.
You can also use plastic boxes or suitcases. Plastic boxes must be wrapped in plastic film. Make sure the volumetric weight is correct. You can use this formula to calculate it: length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) / 6000 = volumetric weight (kg). Shipping costs are calculated based on the higher result of actual weight and volumetric weight. Suitcases must be properly wrapped in plastic film. Make sure the label won’t come off during shipping and that you affix a label the size of a sheet of paper to each side of the suitcase. Be careful with suitcases with a textile outer shell; the adhesive tape comes off easily.
IMPORTANT: We accept suitcases as an alternative packaging; however, we do not recommend them.
All goods shipped by sea or air must be properly packaged. Goods cannot be shipped in bulk and must be properly identified with a label containing shipper and consignee addresses. For irregularly sized goods, please contact us for advice on how to pack them. Example: Rugs should be rolled, folded, and packed in large, dark-colored garbage bags. Skis must be packed in dark colored garbage bags. Bikes can be packed in cardboard boxes that you can buy or get from specialty bike stores. Children’s mountain bikes must be placed in wooden boxes.
Your package must be closed, sealed and bear the identification label containing the information of the sender and the recipient. This is very important as it allows us to speed up the process of posting parcels and preparing the bill of lading, and to respect the waiting time of our other customers.
We can provide free boxes in Montreal and Toronto offices, during opening hours.
The following services are chargeable:
- Wrapping, sticking with scotch box by company employees – $15/box;

IMPORTANT Please prepare and pack your package at home before dropping it off. This way we can all respect your wait time and speed up processing times for our other customers dropping off packages. Your parcels must be closed, sealed and labelled. We do not recommend that you prepare your packages or bulk goods in our offices.

The recipients will be notified by phone by the couriers that they have arrived in front of the property and will have to come and pick up the parcel(s) personally and take possession of them.
The sender accepts all these conditions when handing over the parcels.
Delivery Standard is an estimate of the time required for package transit, regular scan inspection, customs clearance and delivery of the package . The delivery standards for our services are:
- by air: up to 7 days Romania; up to 10 days in other European countries;
- by sea: 4 weeks (Romania), 4-5 weeks (Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, other European countries).
Delivery standards are calculated from the date the ship leaves the port (for sea transport) or the parcel is dropped off at the airport (for air transport).
NOTE: These standards are adhered to and are GUARANTEED. Exceptions may occur in transit, due to various NATURAL, unexpected/unforeseen changes in the calculation of delivery standards. The causes of these changes can be: bad weather, technical difficulties, strikes, detailed physical inspections by state authorities in the country of departure, during transit or at destination (these inspections take longer than inspections which are performed by a scan, at airdrop -off, and have been taken into account when calculating the delivery standards), etc. These exceptions are completely unintentional and cannot be foreseen or predicted.
Adding or changing information (phone number, change of address, change of recipient) CANNOT be done during the entire transit of the parcel.
The sender can track the parcels on the tracking page.

Custom
When dropp off parcels, it is the responsibility of the customer/shipper to declare the contents of the parcel, as well as the actual value of the contents, under their own responsibility. If during any customs control or over-control carried out in Canada or Romania by the customs authorities, a discrepancy is found between the declared goods and the contents, detention measures may be applied to the goods not properly declared or customs duties may be applied according to the customs tariff in force. We recommend that you do not leave goods with new tags and prices on them in your parcels. In case of physical customs control of the parcel, customs duties are paid according to the value of the price displayed on the goods. The customer and only the customer is directly responsible for the contents of the packages they send.
Customs is the nationally responsible authority for customs clearance of products entering or leaving the country. His first responsibility is to collect customs duties. Parcels are handed over to customs for verification and clearance. Once your goods are cleared and cleared, we take care of their delivery. Together with the customer, World Line Cargo completes the documentation and information of each individual package. The customer declares the contents of the package and its value, for which he signs, that is, he assumes full responsibility for what is declared.
- parcel undervalued by the sender. In this case, the customs/customs commissioner recalculates the value of the parcel, possibly asking the Recipient to declare the value of the parcel, the customs commissioner calculates the customs debt, which must be paid by the Sender or Recipient. After the customs debt is paid, the parcel is cleared, we deliver it.
Shipments with a value of up to 45 Euro/shipment are exempt from paying customs duties. The customs authority has the power to impose its own values for import and export customs duties. Parcels that need to be cleared by customs (with a value greater than 45 Euros) must always be accompanied by an invoice or declaration of value. Once the parcels have arrived in the country of destination, but before the goods are delivered, the recipient pays all the duties imposed by the Customs. The customs debt (customs taxes+VAT owed to the Romanian State) will be paid by the Shipper.
As carriers, we cannot calculate the fees, we can only approximate them. Only Customs together with the customs broker calculate them exactly. From our approximations: import customs duties (depending on the product 0%-10%), VAT (19%-21%), plus customs brokerage fees.

Packing tips and instructions
- the packaging must ensure protection against shocks from the outside, internal movement of the contents, scattering, spillage or other damage that may affect the contents of the parcel/package;
- shipments must be securely packed so as not to damage other shipments or injure the personnel who handle the parcels/packages.
- use appropriate packaging of the shipments, to protect the content, because otherwise delays, damages or losses may occur;
- the use of packaging in perfect condition, made of resistant materials, without tears, cracks, without protruding sharp objects, sharp parts;
- pack all items separately;
- use suitable damping materials - bubble wrap for example;
- use a resistant adhesive tape, designed for shipping - transparent or brown scotch tape, NOT duct tape;
- use a single label with the recipient's clear and complete delivery address (name, surname, full address, landline and mobile phone number) place a copy of the label with the address inside the package;
- fill the parcel/package completely, DO NOT leave gaps, choose the size of the package according to its content. Boxes that are not loaded enough can deform, and those that are too loaded can come apart;
- put the fragile goods in the center of the package, making sure they don't touch the edges. The object must be well insulated from all sides;
- pack the gifts appropriately. Many goods sold in attractive packaging may not be suitable for shipping;
- when shipping sharp objects such as knives or scissors, make sure to cover the edges and tips completely. For this, resistant cardboard is suitable. Secure the protective material well so that it is not accidentally removed in transit;
- if you ship liquids: all containers must be well sealed to avoid leaks caused by vibrations or shocks during transport. Wrap the container in waterproof materials and, if possible, add enough absorbent material to absorb the liquid in the event of a spill. Use dense cushioning material such as foam or corrugated cardboard. Separate the bottles with damping material so that they do not touch if you are shipping electrical/electronic items: the manufacturer's packaging is often designed for commercial purposes and may not be suitable for shipping. Use additional packaging depending on the size, weight and fragility of the product. Always use strong cardboard boxes, adding protective/absorbing material around the object;
- if you ship furniture: all pieces of furniture must be properly packed;
- if you send a suitcase or a suitcase: they must be foiled;
- do not exaggerate when sealing the package. Do not forget that all parcels can be opened by the customs authorities for inspection.
PLEASE REMEMBER: THE MOST IMPORTANT PACKAGE IS APPROPRIATE PACKAGING ACCORDING TO THE CONTENTS OF EACH PACKAGE/PARCEL IN PART. Do not rely on the fact that "Fragile" and "Handle with care" labels can substitute for proper packaging. These are for information only.
- Do not use duct tape - it detaches from the cardboard as you can see in the images below:
- Insufficient filling of the box/package – packages that are not completely filled during transit are deformed and broken:
- Don't use paper clips - the most inappropriate, paper clips break the easiest, they practically do not offer any resistance:
- Do not make boxes heavier than 30 kg - they break/break due to their own weight:
- Do not use raffia bags - totally not indicated, they break extremely easily:
Wrapping in foil or plastic/paper and using scotch tape around all sides, suitcases/bags and plastic boxes MUST be wrapped in foil:
The packaging of very fragile or heavy objects is done in a wooden box or palletized:
The packaging of vehicles such as: motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, car, tractor is recommended but not necessary:
